Here is exactly what to expect if you submit your work to SAYKAYZ, from upload to publication.
What you can submit
- Thesis – your full academic work
- Research paper – findings, data, and analysis on any subject
- Blog – an article or essay on a topic you know well
- Story – fiction or personal narrative
- Idea – a theory, proposal, or way of thinking about something
- Collaboration – a piece written with one or more co-authors
- Insight – an observation or reflection worth putting on record
Accepted file formats
You can upload your written content as .docx or .pdf, spreadsheets or data as .xlsx, images as .jpg, .png, or .gif, video as .mp4 or .mov, and bundled files as .zip or .tar. You can also paste your text directly into the submission form instead of uploading a document. Please keep video files reasonably sized. If you have a very large video, a shorter clip or a lower-resolution export usually works better than the full source file.
Getting the best quality from your pictures
Word documents and PDFs usually shrink the pictures inside them to keep the file small, and once that detail is gone it cannot be put back. If your work includes photos, charts, diagrams or scans, a little preparation keeps them sharp:
- Keep the pictures in your document where they belong, so we can see where each one goes.
- Also send the original image files. Put them in one folder, zip it, and attach the zip with your submission.
- Name each file clearly, ideally to match your document, for example figure-2-survey-results.png.
- Send the largest version you have. A screenshot of a picture, or an image saved from a chat app, loses detail. The original file from your camera, phone or chart software is best.
We place the originals where they appear in your document, so your publication looks as sharp as your source material.
How the process works
- You submit. Fill out the Publish form with your name, email, a title, your content, and any supporting files.
- We format it. Your material is placed into our standard publication template. Every category renders the same way, so a thesis and a blog post look equally professional.
- You review. We email you a private preview link. Nothing is public yet.
- You request changes, if needed. Use the Need changes first? box under your preview to tell us what to adjust, and we will revise it and email you an updated preview. This step is free and you can repeat it until you are satisfied.
- You approve and pay. Once the preview looks right, approve it and pay the one-time $17.99 publishing fee through our payment partner, Paddle.
- It goes live. Your piece is published under your name, and your email as well if you chose to show it.
Attribution
Your published piece is credited to the name you give us. If you check the box to show your email publicly, it will appear alongside your name. If not, only your name is shown. Choose whichever you’re comfortable with; either way, the choice is yours and can be changed by contacting us before publication.
Sources, images, and credit
If your work includes images, data, or quotes from someone else, make sure you have the right to use them and that they are properly credited within your submission. This protects both you and the platform.
What we won’t publish
We do not publish plagiarized work, content that infringes someone else’s rights, anything illegal, hateful, or sexually exploitative, or material submitted in bad faith. See our Terms of Service for the full list.
